Police Officer Injured in Phoenix Motor Vehicle Accident
On Tuesday morning, October 4, 2011, A Phoenix police officer and another were transported to a hospital after being hurt in a four-vehicle incident which occurred at 67th Avenue and Van Buren Street. According to reports from AZ Family, there were two more people who were injured in the wreck but both refused to be treated.
What Caused the Arizona Motor Vehicle Accident?
According to the reports of AZ Family, a police SUV responded to an emergency call. During that time, the officer left the SUV's lights and sirens on. Meanwhile, a woman was pulling out from a school's parking lot and on her way going west on Van Buren Street. Both vehicles collided in the center lane causing the police SUV to spin and hit a purple SUV, while the woman's vehicle hit a gray van after it spun due to the impact of the collision. According to reports, the police officer sustained a broken leg and both drivers were taken to a hospital. We hope all parties involved have a speedy recovery.
